The Ryder Cup is The Greatest Show in Golf, and is consistently the most viewed golf event on Sky Sports in the UK, inspiring the next generation of golfers, just as it did with me 32 years ago. This year the USA host Europe at Bethpage State Park and are looking to win on home soil for the third consecutive occasion. Europe today confirmed its 12-man team with Luke Donald selecting SHANE LOWRY, JON RAHM, SEPP STRAKA, VIKTOR HOVLAND, LUDVIG ABERG, and MATT FITZPATRICK, to add to RORY MCILROY, TOMMY FLEETWOOD, TYRRELL HATTON, ROBERT MACINTYRE, JUSTIN ROSE and RASMUS HOJGAARD.

The United States of America confirmed their team last week, with Keegan Bradley selecting Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Ben Griffin, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Cameron Young as his six captain’s picks, adding to Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English and

Bryson DeChambeau. The USA also confirmed the schedule for the matches, the competition will begin on Friday, September 26, with morning foursomes followed by four-ball in the afternoon. The same schedule will be played on Saturday, September 27, before The Ryder Cup concludes with 12 singles matches on Sunday, September 28.

It is set to be one of the best ever editions of the Ryder Cup, with two very closely matched teams:
